The all-weekend 2003 Linedance Workshop in the beautiful City of Greater Sudbury, Ontario was a great success for it's 2nd year. I'd like to thank everyone who participated in our annual workshop which was held April 11-13/03, and to all the big-hearted linedancers who participated and the super generous instructors and djs who made this event a huge success.
With everyone's help we raised
$1, 809.00 for The Canadian Cancer Society.
   
Opening ceremonies began with Anita McNab and V. Kett from the Canadian Cancer society. I also introduced my sister Dianne (who is a cancer survivor) on stage this year, thanks sis!

Julien - our youngest dancer. (see how much he's grown since last year)
and yes I know he's sideways!!!! lol

   

Our main hall DJ Robert Fielder did a fantastic job!!!! Thanks Robert! See his corner in the picture to the right, whew!!! lots of wires there my friend!!!

   
Thanks to all the dancers here in the main hall (also known as the Easter Room this year)!

Thanks to each and every one of you who helped make this weekend a huge success for it's first time..

Thanks to the Valley Girls in the front row for all their help again this year.... thanks to Colette again for the beautiful decorations hanging from the ceiling.... it was quite a climb up there...

Thanks to all my ladies who went out there and scrounged for gifts for the Penny Sale table. I can't thank you enough!
And thanks to Joanne for procuring a hand-carved bird for our #1 Raffle prize for the second year in a row. Gary Leclair of Gary's Songbirds has agreed to supply another bird next year for our raffle. Thanks go out to Gary for his continuing support and generosity.
Thanks Colette for the beautiful hand-painted mason jars and hall decorations. Thanks to Cora for all the gifts she rounded up! Great job done my Valley girls!!!
   
   
Bless you Lynn for all your hard work on the instructors' skit so we could go out there and make bloody fools of ourselves... oh well it was for a good cause... it sure made everybody laugh... we are the Village People Retired!!! What a bunch... we had tons of fun!! (I'm the retired Barbie Prom Queen)
